Programme Overview
The Occupational Skills Programme: Skills Development Facilitation Practitioner prepares learners to effectively plan, coordinate, implement, and administer skills development initiatives within an organisation. The programme equips learners with the practical knowledge and competencies required to facilitate workplace skills planning, conduct learning and development needs analyses, and ensure compliance with South Africa’s skills development legislation and QCTO requirements. It also forms part of the Occupational Certificate: Training and Development Practitioner (SAQA ID 101321)
Entry Requirements
· NQF Level 4 qualification with Communication.
· Access to a workplace is recommended for completing practical and workplace activities.
What You Will Learn
During this programme, learners will develop the ability to:
· Interpret and apply South Africa’s skills development legislation.
· Conduct learning and development needs analyses.
· Develop and implement Workplace Skills Plans (WSPs).
· Coordinate Annual Training Reports (ATRs) and workplace learning reports.
· Facilitate mandatory grant and skills development processes.
· Align organisational learning initiatives with business objectives.
· Monitor, evaluate, and report on learning and development activities.
· Support organisational compliance with QCTO and SETA requirements.
· Coordinate workplace training initiatives and stakeholder engagement.
